Volunteering

Eco farm work with different homestay agency and eco volunteer agency. We have meaningful volunteer project that supports the community in need like school, hospital and water project.

Guests can also visit communities in the surrounding areas and learn about their way of life. Spend time in Eco Farm, a nearby village. Choose from volunteer a school visit, cycling tour or the opportunity to meet a local family and learn about the Iraqw Culture and traditional ways of life.  

You can also choose to volunteer at our eco farm as 10% of vegetables we get go directly to the orphanages around Karatu.

• Collecting honey from our onsite beehives
• Environmentally protection like planting tree
• Making compost pit as all our farming method is organic farming
• Dairy cows provides organic milk for farm guests
• Pigs feeding
• Recycling bottles
• Feeding chicken
• Collecting eggs
